Alan oversees the Investment Management and Business Analysis processes for allocating capital. He takes an active role in advising clients on the prudent deployment of capital into private ventures and publicly traded investment opportunities.
Alan started his investment career at New England Securities in 1993. From 1996 to 2006 he worked as an Investment Specialist and Trust Officer at Northwestern Mutual’s Investment Company, Robert W Baird Inc. and Northwestern Trust Company. In 2006 he founded Riverview Capital Advisers, LLC.
He is an active member in the Investment Management Consulting Association, IMCA. Alan earned his Certified Private Wealth Management, CPWA designation in 2007. A graduate of Bentley University, he remains active with the University’s athletic program and serves on the board of the Bentley Executive Club.
Along with Alan’s business pursuits, he is active in several charitable organizations and particularly enjoys helping local high school students form investment and business clubs.
Paula supervises a highly skilled team of advisory professionals who provide comprehensive family office services, including wealth accumulation, wealth preservation and multi-generational planning. Paula is a key member of the Investment Management team and is responsible for the overall investment policy, strategy and implementation.
Paula began her career in financial planning and investment management in 2001 at DCF Capital. From 2002 to 2006 she worked as part of an investment and wealth management team at Northwestern Mutual / Robert W. Baird in Boston.
As a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association, Paula earned her Certified Private Wealth Advisor designation in 2007, and was named as one of the top woman advisers in the country with such designation. Paula earned her Certified Estate Planner designation in 2011, and holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Massachusetts.
Melysa leads the effort in providing Marketing and Communications services to Business Advisory clients. She addresses their unique needs in creating a marketing and sales program within their private companies. Melysa focuses on the development of key strategies in growing revenue and building sustainable wealth for high net worth clients.
In addition to this role, Melysa coordinates a range of monthly and quarterly events for Riverview clients, as well as manages the content for Riverview’s thought leadership segment.
Melysa earned a B.S. in marketing from Bentley University.
